Steps to getting a new Water Supply
Connection |

| |
1. Obtain Bank receipt from
any branch of State Bank of Sikkim for Rs.10.00
at Bh : 0215-01-103 as fees for application
form.
2. From available in the Revenue cell of the
Department and at all Divisional and Sub
divisional Office located at various places in
the state.
3. Submit filled up form & enclose a blueprint
plan of the premises passed by UD&HD/ any
relevant land document.
4. Once Permission or Connection is granted,
specified connection fee must be paid within 30
days, after which it will become invalid.
5. For places other than Gangtok, the same
process is to be followed in the nearest WS& PHE
offices.
6. The consumer is responsible for all works
required to pipe water from our connection point
to his premises but this has to be done under
our supervision.
7. The customer will also have to obtain
approval from Roads & Bridges Department/ UD&HD/GREF
if a road needs to be cut to make the water
connection. |

Step to getting a new Sewerage Connection |
|
| |
Sewerage services are
available only in Gangtok
1. Obtain a Bank Receipt from any branches of
State Bank of Sikkim or Rs.10.00 at :
0215-02-103 as fees for application form.
2. Forms are available at the Sewerage Office
located at Deorali School Road, Deorali, and at
all Divisonal and Sub divisional Offices located
at various places in the state.
3. Once you receive an ‘Intimation Letter’
signed by the D/E Sewerage, the connection fee
must be paid within 30 days, after which it will
become invalid.
4. The consumer will have to obtain approval
from Roads & Bridges Department/ UD&HD/ GREF if
a road needs to be cut to make the sewer
connection.
5. The consumer is required to construct a sewer
man hole with a silt catch pipe within his
premises. |
