Setting of Various tariffs and charges |
|
| |
The currents tariffs and
charges for the supply of water and sewerage
services are subsidized and do not cover the
full cost of providing these services. Though
the prices will increase with time to ensure
sustainability of these services. We are
undertaking a number of actions to make sure
that these cost escalations are as low as
possible. |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Consumers are requested to assist us in
our actions which include: |
|
| |
• Increasing the amount of
revenue collected by ensuring that the citizens
who use the water supply and sewerage services
pay for those services on time.
• Reducing the volume of water lost through
leakages, overflowing tanks and wasteful use.
• Improving our efficiency in delivering
services. |
|
| |
Details of the fee and current charges are
as existing on the date of publication of this
Citizens’ Charter |
|
| |
|
|
| |
• Monthly water usage charges are presently
based on number of taps on your property |
|
| |
|
|
| |
We are proposing to gradually convert our
tariff system from tap-based to meters. This
will be notified shortly. |
